👩‍🎤 The year was 1978. The city was San Francisco. The media, ironically, was a paper called The Recycler. In it, founding member Raymond Pepperell (AKA East Bay Ray) advertised for bandmates, which later became one of the most notable hardcore punk bands of all time, The Dead Kennedys.
